The firm of A.L.F.A, "Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili" was established in Italy in 1910 and built it's first 24 HP car. From that auspicious beginning, Alfa Romeo was born.
The Duetto, one of Alfa's best know cars was built only in 1966 and 1967. Dustin Hoffman made the car famous in the movie "The Graduate".
But of course, it's really all about the people. Ed, and his wife Carolyn enjoy touring the USA and Canada in their Duetto, and attending Italian Car events. It's a hobby that brings many international friends together.
Though Alfa Romeo still manufacturers these fine automobiles, the last Alfa was imported into the United States in 1994. Ed enjoys restoring these fine automobiles.
